This is the privacy policy for https://swedenforreal.com. Sweden For Real is run by one person (that's me, Lena), who is responsible for the data privacy on it.

What personal data is collected and why?

The only data being collected when you subscribe is the following:

  • Email address, so that you can log in to your account and have access to the articles you signed up for, as well as get emails when new articles appear
  • Name (optional, and doesn't have to be real)
  • Membership status. The Ghost platform, where this website is hosted, needs this to know which articles to show to whom
  • Membership source. This gives me an overview of how many people found this website from other websites, search engines, social media, and alike
  • The date your account was created
  • If you choose a paid subsription: payment details.

The Ghost platform provides a possibility to track a bit more data, but I chose not to use it:

I do not share or sell any of this data. I will not do it in the future either.
